SnIPPETsX › How It Works
From First Click to Live Execution: Inside SnIPPETsX
Learn how SnIPPETsX lets you start a session in 1 click, write code in 40+ languages, share an instant URL, and run code together in real-time.
The four steps behind every session
Start a session in one click. Opening snippetsx.com and pressing Start Session creates a new snippet with its own URL. There is no signup, no install and no project to configure — the editor loads with sensible defaults for the language you choose.
Write code with a real editor. The editor is built on CodeMirror 6 with proper language grammars for 40+ languages, multiple file tabs, bracket matching and auto-indentation.
Share the URL and collaborate live. Everyone who opens the link joins the same session over WebSockets. Keystrokes, cursors and selections sync in real time, so you can see exactly where each collaborator is working, and a chat panel keeps the discussion next to the code.
Run it together. Pressing Run sends the active file to an isolated, short-lived sandbox container. stdout, stderr and the exit code stream back to every participant, and requests fail over across several execution providers so one outage does not stop you.
